An officer at this level may be in charge of a section/unit or Audit team comprising staff below him/her. Specifically, work at this level will involve audit assignments in a University College College/Campus, making reports to the immediate officer and examining payment schedules and preparing audit programmers and supervising staff below him/her.
Internal Auditor Job Requirements
A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration) degree or its equivalent from a recognized University College.CPA (K) and 4 years’ relevant experienceKnowledge of ICTA relevant Masters degree will be an added advantage
Job Specification for Serving Officer
For promotion to this grade, an officer must have:-
Served in the grade of Internal Auditor II for at least a period of 3 yearsA Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration) degree or its equivalent from a recognized University College.CPA (K) (iv) Knowledge of ICTShown merit and ability in work performance and results.
